The Sunshine Valley Community Recreation Society is implementing an updated fee structure for households that allow their short-term rental guests (such as Airbnb and VRBO visitors) to use the SVC Recreation Centre.
The increased facility use by short-term guests results in higher cleaning, maintenance, and operational costs. To ensure the continued upkeep and improvement of the centre, a new fee will be introduced, set at 50% of a regular annual pass. These funds will help cover additional expenses and contribute to future capital improvements, ensuring a high-quality experience for all members and guests.
This new fee is now listed on the table of fees. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to enhance our community’s recreation facilities.
